Moonstone beach, wakefield ri, sandbags, erosion
My recent photoshoot at Moonstone. At one time one of the most desired but still one of the most expensive water front properties in RI, at Moonstone Beach (also at once a nudist beach), massive sandbags create a limited barrier against evolution. These multi million dollar homes have no defense against beach erosion. Dunes disappearing from their front door were created with a special sand/clay mix. A make shift board walk was placed atop, while sand bags attempt to slow down the constant washing away of sand, which is always in your house…. Moonstone beach, wakefield ri, sandbags, erosion
